Pitter patter of little…paws?

January 27, 2014

I’d like to introduce you to the two newest members of the Shepherd family:

These two weren’t together and aren’t related, but my mom connected with both, so she brought both home! Sunday night was the first time we met and I am in love. It took a little time for everyone- even little dogs seem like big dogs to 4.5 lb Gilligan, but once we got sorted and necessary butt sniffing was done, it was on and they ran around like BFFs. Dolce was super skittish and was maybe actually sort of  warming up to me before I took the first picture, which scared the shit out of her, and that was the end of that. Jinx, however even let me pick him up and kiss his face!

Dolce!

Dolce!

Jinx!

Jinx!

More Jinx, because, come on!

Dolce wasn't so sure about the corn. She sniffed at it and licked it a couple of times

Dolce wasn’t so sure about the corn. She sniffed at it and licked it a couple of times, but then the camera came out and she got nervous.

Gilligan loves a little corn on the cobb.

I fucking love dogs.

Me too! We’ve got 1 pound puppy, and a large chocolate lab whose mom died and a diva little Yorkie whose mom died. And we’re starting to feel like Jessica Fletcher. Everywhere that lady went people were just dropping like flies!
